In January of 2013 Accelrys acquired Vialis AG, an informatics system integrator based in Liestal, Switzerland serving the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, chemicals and agro-science industries. In September 2013, Accelrys acquired ChemSW, an Environmental Health Safety (EHS) compliance solutions provider. This acquisition enabled Accelrys to provide CISPro solutions for managing and tracking the source, use and disposal of chemicals along the entire lab-to-plant value chain. In December 2013 Accelrys acquired QUMAS, a Cork Ireland-based company that focuses on controlled document management. This acquisition added targeted governance, risk management and compliance solutions to Accelrys portfolio. Went Public on February 27, 2004.
