It formed a partnership withnbsp;PUPInbsp;nbsp;(Pultruded Utility Products Inc) in 1994,nbsp;to refine and manufacture fiberglass beams for crossarms. GEOTEK purchased the assets of Pultruded Utility Products Inc in March,nbsp;2000 and the business was renamed Pultruded Utility Products International, PUPI. In Feb 2009, the majority stake in the company was bought bynbsp;Granite Equity Partners, a Minnesota-based private investment and holding company.nbsp;Medallion Capital provided subordinated debt to assist in the acquisition.
