Inofea is a spin-off from University Applied Sciences Basel and Basel Incubator that has developed a patented platform technology called enzzen to fit enzymes to in vivo and process conditions. The technique enables them to immobilize any enzyme or cocktail of enzymes onto silica particles and protect them by growing a nano-structured shield on the outer surface of the particle.
