About Magasool
Magasool, incubated at IIMCIP, is a technology services provider for small and marginal farmers to help them increase the yield, decrease the input cost and value add to the end product. The services offered are first experimented on a farm and then would be taken for use by a few farmers once for testing. It would be taken to a larger group of farmers once the method has a significant impact over the conventional methods. It is currently functional in 6 districts of Tamil Nadu namely Cuddalore, Kanchipuram, Salem, Thanjavur, Thiruvannamalai, Trichy and claims to have reached over 1000 farmers and landless labourers.
