In early 2000, It has reached a long-term agreement with Allied Waste Industries, Inc. allowing VeriCenter to run its business out of the former central information technology (IT) data center and corporate headquarters of Browning-Ferris Industries in Houston, Texas. In June 2000, It announced the opening of its state-of-the-art data center and hosting services facility. In the Fall of 2000, VeriCenter launched its market-leading OpCenter managed service provider (MSP) offering, including support for Microsoft and Solaris operating systems, Oracle and SQL Server database platforms, Intel and Sun servers, as well as RAID and SAN storage. In 2001, VeriCenter grew its MSP business rapidly, establishing itself as the leading MSP in the Houston market with more than 45 customers relying on the OpCenter service to provide 24x7x365 availability for their hosted business applications. VeriCenters customers include enterprises, mid-sized businesses, and Internet-based business with advanced hosting requirements.
