A SaaS version of its video platform, yospaceCDS, was launched in 2008. Intially it worked with publishers and news agencies in the online video market. But later it grew to reach major television broadcasters and networks and service providers and became an important player in live stream manipulation, management and monetisation. Yospace services major broadcasters and content providers throughout the world. Customers include: DirecTV in the US, Canal 13 in Chile, Channel 9 and Network Ten in Australia, TG4 in Ireland and Box TV and STV in the UK.In February 2007, the company was acquired by Emap plc for 8.7 million. EMAP was subsequently acquired by Europes biggest privately-held publishing group H.Bauer Publishing. In March 2009, as part of Bauer Medias strategy review, it sold its interest in Yospace to private investors. The company now operates as an independently-owned business.
